Flashing the unlocked A19 BIOS was in my case redundant, not needed IMO. Turned off all USB too and the nVidia GPU, just had the Intel 3k firing the display. Literally, only activated hardware devices were the keyboard, mouse, Ethernet via copper and DVD ROM drive, system volumes, etc.
